A Carl Junction man with three previous convictions for driving while intoxicated was charged with DWI today in Jasper County Circuit Court following a Webb City Police Department traffic stop Monday.
Jesus Manuel DeLeon (DOB 1985) was charged with DWI-aggravated offender and aggravated fleeing, both felonies, and driving while revoked, a misdemeanor.
Three of DeLeon's DWI arrests have occurred in the past 14 months, according to court documents.
DeLeon's bond is set at $20,000 cash only.
From the probable cause statement:
Range Line and Zora, in the City of Webb City, County of Jasper, State of Missouri, in reference to a
traffic violation.
The vehicle, driven by Mr. DeLeon, accelerated and fled from my emergency lights and siren on my fully marked patrol vehicle. Mr. DeLeon led me on a pursuit westbound on Zora at a speed of about 80 miles per hour (nearly double the speed limit) maneuvering dangerously through other traffic, at one point going head-on with eastbound traffic.
Mr. DeLeon then turned into The Autumn Place Apartments located at 2030 E. Zora in the City of Joplin, at which time he surrendered without further incident.
He said, "I know, I'm going to prison."
An investigation revealed Mr. DeLeon was intoxicated, he provided a breath sample (results were .104% BAC).
A check of his driving history and criminal history revealed three prior convictions of Driving While Intoxicated (2008, and two convictions in 2026). The State of Missouri had three active administrative actions against Mr. DeLeon's driver license currently; Administrative Alcohol Suspension, 1 year point
revocation, and an administrative alcohol revocation. His driver license was currenty revoked.

Mr. DeLeon was held and required to post a bond due to his obvious disregard for the motoring public.
DeLeon was found guilty of DWI December 11, 2008 in Joplin Municipal Court, following a November 21, 2008 arrest; on January 16, 2026 in Platte County Circuit Court following a May 27, 2025 arrest and on May 13, 2026 in Webb City Municipal Court following an October 13, 2025 arrest.
Casenet would show all DUIs charged by county or highway patrol go to John Nicholas. Most felony DUIs begin in that court. This man has had 3 municipal cases that would be in front of municipal judges…but 3 is a felony…hmmm. So why is 4 his first felony? This case is in front of Nicholas….which of the 18 defense attorney campaign supporters for Nicholas will the man choose…

DeleteJesus Manuel DeLeon, four DWI's and counting. I hope that everyone realizes that this number is all he has been caught with and probably not the number of times driving drunk! He needs to see at least 10-Years or more in Prison. These Judges and Prosecutors have got to start doing their jobs and protecting Society and STOP make DEALS and giving Probation - ENOUGH is ENOUGH - You, your Family, and/or your Friends, could be their next victims!
