(From the U. S. Attorney for the Western District of Missouri)A Guatemalan National was indicted by Grand Jury on June 30, 2026, for illegal re-entry into the United States after being previously deported.
Julien Cristobal-Perez, 62, was indicted for an offense that occurred on May 25, 2026, in Barry County, Mo., related to his illegal re-entry after being previously deported from the United States.
Under federal statute, illegally re-entering into the United States after being previously deported is in direct violation of existing federal immigration law and is subject to a sentence of up to two years imprisonment. The maximum statutory sentences are prescribed by Congress and are provided here for informational purposes.
This case is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Patrick Carney. It was investigated by the Department of Homeland Security-Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Removal Operations, and the Monett, Missouri, Police Department.
The charges contained in this indictment are simply accusations, and not evidence of guilt. Evidence supporting the charges must be presented to a federal trial jury, whose duty is to determine guilt or innocence.

ReplyDelete3:11 why would a president have time to involve theirselves in every criminal investigation and proceeding involving sexual abuse. That is why there is an FBI and a DOJ to do the investigation and prosecuting. You do realize that Florida first dealt with the Epstein investigation and that they never called in any Federal Bureau. Florida is the ones who gave him the ability to come back to the jail every evening, for the night, then allowed him out every day. Florida is who allowed him to have his own cell with all the luxuries of home. It wasn’t until much later that additional complaints of Epstein’s behaviors came to the FBI, that allowed the Federal government to become involved. If Presidents have to be involved in every case that is being investigated, when would they have time to do their own job. Trump just used this as a way to make news during his 2024 campaign, and his follow through has been greatly lacking, actually embarrassing. As far as Republicans being so tough on criminals, why has Trump pardoned a lot of the major drug dealers and people whose families have donated to him? Pay to play isn’t being tough on crime, it just says that the wealth people don’t have to do the time after committing the crimes.
