A misdemeanor animal abuse charge was filed in Barton County Circuit Court today against a Golden City man who allegedly kicked a cat to death.
According to the probable cause statement, Connor Scott West (DOB 1994) came to a Golden City resident's home and when the resident opened the door he saw "his cat lying in the yard, bleeding."
West told the man he kicked the cat and then left, according to the statement.
The cat died from the injuries.
A criminal summons was issued to West today with a 9 a.m. October 20 court date set.
The case was investigated by the Barton County Sheriff's Office.

How could anyone hurt an innocent animal, his violent heinous actions show the depravity of this azz-hole. He has 17 Cases on Case-Net that tells you what kind of low-life he really is. He thinks he is above the law, and can get away with anything, he needs a lot of prison time and a tour of the thunder dome when he gets there. I am sure that living at 282 N DADE 11 GOLDEN CITY, MO 64748 (info from Case Net), his neighbors and the surrounding communities would like to see him gone for a few years in prison so they can live in peace. Connor Scott West is a menace to society, stop giving him slaps on the wrist or probation, he needs to pay for his criminal actions!!!
