Amy Patino, 37, Pineville, was bound over for trial Monday after waiving her preliminary hearing in McDonald County Circuit Court on four felony counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
Her trial court arraignment is scheduled for 9 a.m. November 16 in front of Judge Kevin Selby.
The allegations against Patino were detailed in the probable cause statement:
Victim I disclosed she had been struck with a belt three times on the back side of her leg just below her buttock by her mother's live-in boyfriend, Joshua McIntier. {She} took a photograph of the mark on a. cellular phone that showed a large bruise with the color of brown, blue and yellow.V1 disclosed during a forensic interview at the Children's Advocacy Center. Her mother, Amy Patino, was present during the assault. There are no findings when Patino sought medical care for V1.
While I was at VI's residence with the school resource officer, McDonald County Juvenile Officer and Division of Family Services, it was learned V1 had been living in a storage shed on the property for a period of 1-2 months. The storage shed's only source of cooling was two exterior windows. A small mattress was on the floor of the storage shed where V1 slept.
V1's younger brother, V2 disclosed during a forensic interview conducted at the CAC that his bed for sleeping was a bean bag on the floor in a corner of the living room. Amy Patino is the biological mother of V1 and V2.
There are two twin infants living inside the residence.
The residence has evidence of an infestation of live bugs, rotten food displayed, fire hazards of an aluminum can used for an ash tray stuffed in baby clothes next to the baby crib.
McIntier's probable cause statement, in addition to what was described in Patino's statement, included allegations of improper text messages to Victim 1.VI also had text messages in her cellular phone that she had shared with the School Resource Officer and members of the Division of Family Services where Joshua Mclntier made inappropriate statements to VI pretending to be a teenage boy.
McIntier, who had also been charged with four counts of endangering the welfare of a child, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of one count in April, was sentenced to seven years by Judge John LePage, who suspended the sentence and placed McIntier on probation for five years.
McDonald County Circuit Court records indicate McIntier has already been cited for one probation violation.

Amy Patino and Joshua McIntier - A couple of A-Holes, should both be in prison. How can anyone mistreat Children or Animals - they are God's Gifts and should be Loved and Protected! Hopefully this Child and Others that have had to live in squalor and abuse - get whatever Help and Love to have a better Future. If you are aware of any situations like this - please contact the authorities, you could be saving a Child's Life!
These two are SICK! Josh is a known drug addict and dealer and deserves to be put under the penitentiary instead of given probation. And the mother is stupid for thinking that living in the conditions she was forcing those children to live in would be considered to be anything less than criminal. They're disgusting humans and don't deserve to be allowed their freedom. Also, these aren't Josh's first children, he's got several more that he's abandoned at some point or another. These people are given chance after chance by everyone and they continue to spit in the face of those who have tried. And honestly, there's several other people who have enabled these idiots that should be held accountable as well, but no one will do anything to them. Everyone gets away with the drug addled bs in this county. It's truly disgusting.
Cmon people! Get a proper ashtray for the nursery! It’s not rocket science! 🚬
