KOAM's 10 p.m. report featured a report on how challenging Missouri's MAP tests, the ones on which the accreditation of school districts are based, are. Out of 40 states surveyed in a national study, Missouri had the third most challenging standardized test, far ahead of the other states in the four-state area.
If this doesn't show how ridiculous the No Child Left Behind standards are, I don't know what does. Each state sets its own standards, meaning Missouri gets cheated because it dares to challenge its students.
