Fortress loses out on psychiatric hospitals
Dutch bank ABN AMRO won the auction for Priory psychiatric hospitals in Great Britain, according to published reports. One of the bidders in the auction was Fortress Investment, the global hedge fund that recently bought Liberty Group Publishing, owners of The Carthage Press, the Neosho Daily News, the Neosho Post, and The Big Nickel, among approximately 300 publications.
