Nodler, Richard have each raised more than $50,000

Campaign finance disclosure forms filed last week with the Missouri Ethics Commission show that two area legislators, Sen. Gary Nodler, R-Joplin, and Rep. Ron Richard, R-Joplin, each have more than $50,000 in their campaign treasuries.
Richard received more than a third of his $51,529.79 total, $17,807.50, during the last three months, including $1,550 from people connected with Leggett & Platt of Carthage, and $1,512.50 from the 129th District Republican Committee, according to the campaign documents.
Those donating the maximum $300 (the party committees are allowed to give more) included:

On his disclosure form, Richard reported spending $996.69 during the past three months, all for printing and advertising.

Nodler has $51,970.34 in his campaign war chest, receiving $9,950 during the past three months.
