Jackson schedules news conference, expected to ask for recount

Col. Jack Jackson has scheduled a 4 p.m. news conference in which he is expected to ask for a recount in his narrow loss to Platte County Auditor Sandra Thomas for the Republican nomination for state auditor.
Jackson lost by less than one percent of the vote.
