The governor's office issued the following media advisory today:
Inclement Weather Forces Cancellation of Education Event in Joplin
JEFFERSON CITY – Due to inclement weather and tornado warnings in the Joplin area the West Central Elementary stop at 5:00 p.m. has been cancelled today.

Someone needs to tell the National Weather Service.
That # is not the govenor's spokeswomen - but the man I talked to was very friendly!
ReplyDeleteThe Gov probably thinks there is a tornado after him most of the time. Must be sad to have to keep one eye behind you to see who is catching up.
