Rep. Ron Richard, R-Joplin, was the winner in his fundraising battle with Speaker of the House opponent Allen Icet, R-Wildwood, according to disclosure reports filed this weekend with the Missouri Ethics Commission.
Jason Rosenbaum of the Columbia Tribune Political Blog examines the reports in his latest post:
For the second quarter in a row, Richard upended Icet in raising funds. Richard took in $130,795.40, while Icet grabbed $73,236.49.
Both candidates retrieved their cash from a hodgepodge of interest groups, lobbyists and PACs.
