Blunt: I was always concerned about No Child Left Behind

An article in today's Washington Post indicates No Child Left Behind, which was scheduled to be reauthorized this year, is likely to be held over to become a major part of next year's presidential and congressional races.
Toward the end of the article, Seventh District Congressman Roy Blunt indicates how he feels about No Child Left Behind:

Among those joining the revolt was House Minority Whip Roy Blunt (R-Mo.), a Bush ally. "I always had misgivings," he said. "But I did vote for it on the basis that maybe he was right and this was his big domestic initiative and let's give him a chance. But all my concerns . . . have proven to be justified."
