Blunt issues statement on death of California Congressman, Holocaust survivor

Seventh District Congressman Roy Blunt issued the following statement today following the death of Rep. Tom Lantos, D-California, 80, a Holocaust survivor, after a long illness:

"Chairman Lantos will be remembered as a man of uncommon integrity and sincere moral conviction -- and a public servant who never wavered in his pursuit of a better, freer and more religiously tolerant world.
