McCain finally pulling away from Huckabee

The Virginia GOP primary is finally beginning to shape up as projected by the networks, as John McCain has pulled out to a 49 to 43 percent lead over Mike Huckabee with 78 percent of the vote counted.
Barack Obama trounced Hillary Clinton in the Democratic primary.
Obama is also projected as the winner in Washington, D. C.
Voting in the Maryland primary will end in less than five minutes. It was originally scheduled to end at 7 p.m. Joplin time, but a judge ordered the polls remain open an additional 90 minutes because of voters who had a hard time reaching the polls due to traffic problems caused by the weather.
