House holds moment of silence for tornado victims

The Missouri House of Representatives held a moment of silence this morning to honor victims of Saturday's tornadoes:

Rep. Marilyn Ruestman of Joplin and Rep. Kevin Wilson of Neosho updated the chamber on the casualties and destruction.

Ruestman said “well over 300 homes” were destroyed or damaged by the storm.
