Senate Minority Leader Ray Miller told The Columbus Dispatch the resignation appears forthcoming, but he did not say exactly when scandal-plagued Dann would step down.
The newspaper citing sources it did not name reports that Dann is negotiating his resignation and is adamant that a bill allowing the inspector general to investigate his office be killed.
The (Cleveland) Plain Dealer, without citing a source, first reported that Dann planned to tell his staff later Tuesday he will resign.
Dann spokeswoman Jennifer Brundisi says she had not heard Dann planned to resign.

Sources say Ohio attorney general to resign
Less than a week after former Joplin Globe Editor Edgar Simpson was forced to resign as hix chief of staff, it looks like Ohio Attorney General Marc Dann will join him on the unemployment line:
