Lt. Gov. Peter Kinder will present the Senior Service Award to Ron and Mary Forbis of Joplin during a ceremony scheduled for 3:30 p.m. Monday, July 28, at the Area Agency on Aging, 2701 S. Bird, Joplin.
The lieutenant governor will be acting in his capacity as the state's senior citizens advocate.
