Revolving door continues: former Senate President Pro Tem, now lobbyist Gibbons lands top-drawer clients
That nemesis of good government, the revolving door between the state legislature and lobbying, continues to operate in Missouri.
The latest former legislator to join the ranks of Missouri's registered lobbyists is former Senate President Pro Tem Michael Gibbons, R-Kirkwood, who starts out with an all-star list of clients. Gibbons registered as a lobbyist Wednesday.
On Friday, Gibbons filed documents to lobby for Associated Industries of Missouri, Coalition for Quality Medical Education, Missouri Health Care Association, Missouri Primary Care Association, Monsanto, Peabody Energy, and The Cordish Company.
Go Mike!
