Political operative Jeff Roe's motion for summary judgment in the libel suit against him will be held during a 9 a.m. Friday, Jan. 8, hearing in St. Charles County Circuit Court.
Roe is being sued by County Commissioner Joe Brazil concerning material Roe posted on his blog, The Source during the final days of Roe's unsuccessful 2006 campaign for state senate.
