Ho-hum another day another pervert...I'm sure his defense will be that the pictures were all tastefully done and should be considered "art". I'm sure he will try to make it some kind of first ammendment case and likely get off scott free.

I find this all so hard to believe. For one thing, reading the probable cause affidavit, I find it difficult to understand why he would admit to the things he supposedly admitted to.
Also, I wonder why forensic computer checking was going on and why on Val. I used to work there, and it was very difficult to get anyone to work on your computer, if you NEEDED them So why would they do this unless it was a hatchet job? I smell a rat.

Get real, folks. He admitted downloading the porn (see Joplin Globe article) on his school computer. I teach at Southern, and don't buy the "conspiracy theories" the last 2 posters are trumping up. VC will be gone very soon, and if he was dumb enough and perverted enough to download this stuff, and leave it on his computer, then he deserves to be dismissed.

Val has NOT been at MSSU since it was a community college, as the JUCO ended in 1968 or 1969, and he didn't arrive until 1979 (see Globe article). Get your facts straight and then maybe your opinions will carry some weight.
