Chart: KCUMB ignoring Speck, has no interest in Joplin medical school

Since the departure of Karen Pletz as president of Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, KCUMB officials have totally ignored Missouri Southern State University Bruce Speck, according to an article in the latest edition of The Chart.

They did not exactly pay much attention to him before Pletz' resignation either:

According to the documents provided, Speck and Pletz never exchanged a single e-mail message. Pletz was fired in December, and has since been sued by KCUMB for several million dollars. Pletz is countersuing, alleging wrongful termination.

The remainder of the article indicates Speck has sent numerous e-mail messages to Pletz' successor, Danny Weaver, and all have been ignored.

Good job Chart. However, you probably have gotten more enlightment on the subject if you had also asked for emails between Speck and Dwight Douglas and between Douglas and Terri Agee.
