Cynthia Davis: We've been the nice ones

For those who thought Rep. Cynthia Davis, R-O'Fallon, was mean-spirited just because she said hunger is a great motivator for children certainly must have changed their minds after hearing her Tax Day speech. In less than four minutes, Mrs. Davis, who is term-limited in the House, but running for the Senate seat currently held by fellow Republican Scott Rupp, corrected any mistaken belief that she and her fellow conservatives are hard hearted{

"Historically, we have been so nice. We have been the compassionate ones. We have been the gentle ones who wanted to reach out and do what we could. I've got news for you- No more Mr. Nice Guy."

Thank God she set us straight.

In her speech, she reminds us that she is the one who brought Missourians the Health Care Freedom Act, the Firearms Freedom Act and the Light Bulb Freedom Act.

Possibly, Scott Rupp will provide Missourians with the Freedom from Cynthia Davis Act.

    Is it possible; can it in any way; is there any measurable way to know if it can get goofier than this?
