Incumbent Scott Rupp, R-St. Charles County, has almost seven times as much money in his campaign account than challenger Rep. Cynthia Davis, R-O'Fallon, according to disclosure reports filed with the Missouri Ethics Commission.
Rupp collected $27,520 during the first quarter and spent $22,190.97, leaving him with $62,701.41.
Mrs. Davis picked up $17,704, spent $9,047.49, and has $9,985.07 remaining.
All Cynthia needs to do is come up with some fictional rights violations going on in Missouri, ones that will really fire up wingnuts nationwide -- about that plays long and hard on the conservative as victim mentality - and then go on Fox and talk about how she'll lead the fight to get legislation enacted to protect said rights.
