Nodler: I'm a uniter, not a divider

In an interview with KY3, Sen. Gary Nodler, R-Joplin, tells how he can help end the rancor in our nation's capital if he is elected to Congress:

I can only do that by myself bringing an attitude of openness and being willing to work across party lines to try to convince others. I’ve done that at the state level as chairman of the Senate Appropriations committee where I worked with Sen. Joan Bray, one of the most liberal members of the Missouri Senate.  And yet we were able to produce unanimous committee reports to the Senate and that’s hard work. It doesn’t come naturally.  It takes effort.

Sorry,Gary, but nothing could be further from the truth. You are a partisan GOP cowboy who plays that party line down to the finish. It would be truly great if we could get someone more progressive to serve the 7th District in D.C., but ain't going to happen. I just hope whichever Republican goes there for us, it isn't you. We need someone who is a bit smarter, more savvy, and doesn't think the Earth is flat and dinosaurs were fiction.

Gary, from reading coverage of last weeks candidate forum in different publications, I do not think you nor any of your opponents are uniters. you all seem to be party hacks with no original thoughts in your heads. All of the candidates seem to be cut from the same Neo-Con cloth. I wish just one of you would be just right of center and play to the common hard working Southwest Missourian instead of the Far right wing of your party. Gary you served 2 terms in the State Senate and have proven you are not in the chase for the common man only the lobbyists and the wealthy have your vote.
