Wisdom blasts No-Show Nodler

Seventh District Congressional candidate Jeff Wisdom blasted his opponent, Sen. Gary Nodler, for skipping today's special session vote on the Missouri Manufacturing Jobs Act. The following news release was just issued:

Seventh Congressional District candidate Jeff Wisdom issued a statement today regarding the vote on the Missouri Manufacturing Jobs Act and the fact the state Sen. Gary Nodler no-showed the vote.
"By filibustering the Missouri Manufacturing Jobs Act, a bill providing Ford with tax credits at the expense of small businesses that create jobs, while also sacrificing his committee chairmanship, State Senator Chuck Purgason demonstrated that he is true to his conservative convictions. Yet, it is surprising and troubling that many of his Republican colleagues in the senate failed to support him in the filibuster effort.  One of my opponents, State Senator Gary Nodler, failed to even engage in the fight against this ill-conceived and reckless bill,” Wisdom stated.  “That his vote would have failed to make a difference in the final outcome is not the issue - he did not fulfill his sworn responsibilities as a state senator to represent the people of his district by casting a vote for the legislative record.”
“According to his staff in Jefferson City, the senator was not present in the state capitol for the vote Wednesday morning. Instead, staffers said that he was spending the day in his district. According to a letter he wrote addressing the Taney County Republicans prior to last evening's candidate forum at College of the Ozarks, he was planning to attend an event in Springfield Tuesday night and would be in Branson campaigning on Wednesday. He apparently chose fundraisers and campaign events rather than upholding his duty to represent his constituents on this important issue. For many voters in Southwest Missouri, this type of aloof behavior often exhibited by career politicians calls into question their accountability or level of commitment to the conservative ideals desperately needed in Washington, DC,” said Wisdom.
“Elected representatives who lack the backbone and the political courage to oppose irresponsible fiscal policies are the reason there is a frustrated electorate. Passage of this bill is imprudent at a time when the state is facing the possibility of $1 billion in state budget cuts next fiscal year. If it were possible, I would have been standing alongside Senator Purgason in this filibuster. I am disappointed in those Senate Republicans who shirked their responsibilities, lacking the foresight or fortitude to stand up against bad legislation and united with Purgason in being a voice for the people,” concluded Wisdom.

Busy campaigning on NOT representing Joplin. Who would want to send this guy to Washington so he can NOT represent us there?

Glad one of your other opponents, Jack Goodman, was on hand to filibuster!

Thanks to Jack's dynamic leadership ability, he could not convince any of his fellow Republicans to join him to oppose this legislation.

So all of you folks out there who enjoy 'grandstanding' and believe that is what we need in elected officials may now rejoice because you have found the actor to follow.

Can you even begin to imagine how useless and ineffective he would be a a Congressman?

Poor Jack has been a non-factor in Jefferson City since his arrival and would be a child lost in the wilderness in Washington D.C.

But that doesn't mean he is not a nice fella. Just wet behind the ears.

Who is Jeff Wisdom?

Jack Wisdom claims to be an economist when in fact he simply teaches some classes at OTC.

That being said, let's join Jack Wisdom and pretend, as he does, that he is the world's leading authority on economic development. (Please remember, he is not.)

Jack Wisdom, did you send any information to Chuck Purgason or Jeff Goodman to help them convince the members of the Missouri Senate to oppose this special treatment for Ford Motor Company?

With your economic (lack of) wisdom, did you provide a convincing argument to help these two people in their attempts to specificially outline reasons to oppose this handout?

No, apparently not. You sat on your thumb (or the thumb of your little helper) and composed a meaningless news release to attack a public servant.

Why don't you go to Cliff Davis or Dr. Higdon and ask them specificially if the person you are attacking has a public record of helping OTC, the place where you have your hand out bi-monthly for a paycheck.

Maybe little helper was setting on his thumb?

Aren't you getting your Jeff and Jack mixed up?

I'm confused.

Is your point that Jack Wisdom does not know Jeff S%+#?

Or that Jeff Wisdom does not know Jack S%+#?

Or that Jeff and Jack don't know, well, you know about much of anything.

I get the part about Jeff and Jack being 'grandstanders'.

Tell me more about Jack or Jeff's 'little helper'. Is it the guy who fired a shot about two months ago for Jeffrey and then shut up?

Nurse Goodbody, that fiesty little helper he had at the MSSU forum.

It's good to see that this blog has given Gary Nodler a chance to showcase his multiple personality disorder in such a public manner...."I love Gary SHUT UP I LOVE GARY!"

All of you Nodler cheerleaders (shudders at the thought of that mental picture) are avoiding the true question posed by this release....why was he absent from the job he is still being paid by the taxpayers to do?

That said, the two youngin's you get moist over could not come up with a collaberative effort to stop the deal.

I mean if Jeff Goodman could not convince even his own party members to stop the deal and Jack Wisdom does not have enough sense to send a message containing his sel-proclaimed economic wisdom (pun intended) what else matters?

Tell me more about the little helper. And no, I don't mean Milesy CyRoss or Pracriss Morrow.
