All three local 5 p.m. newscasts noted Albuquerque police officers have left Joplin after executing search warrants Tuesday at properties belonging to Joplin businessman Ron Erwin.
KODE had an off-camera interview with Erwin's bother, who indicated Erwin was contacting a lawyer and that the family would issue a statement soon.
KSNF noted that the Joplin Police said no search warrants were executed today.
KOAM also noted the departure of the out-of-state investigators and recapped the information that was available from Tuesday.
