Billy Long today announced the plans for a series of conversations with small businesses across the 7th District. The four day tour will consist of ten campaign stops and will include a formal announcement from the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) of their endorsement of Billy Long for Missouri's 7th District Congressional seat. The announcement will take place on September 8th at 10 a.m. in a meeting at Software Center located at 2604 East 7th Street in Joplin.
“The employers and employees of small business are the backbone of our economy,” Billy said. “It is important for our next representative to take their message to Washington if we are going to find a solution to our economic problems. As a small businessman myself, that is just what I plan to do when the people select me to represent their interests in our nation’s capital.”
