HB 471, sponsored by Rep. Joe Aull, D-Marshall, and co-sponsored by 32 representatives, would forgive school days missed between Jan. 31 and Feb. 4, the time when the blizzard resulted in state of emergency being declared for Missouri.
The bill received its first reading Thursday.
