The City of Joplin will open the two available city swimming pools on Saturday, June 3. Both the Schifferdecker and Ewert Family Aquatic Center pools will be open from 1 p.m. – 8 p.m., and admission fees have been waived for Saturday and Sunday.
Regular fees and hours go into effect Monday, June 6. These pools will be open daily 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. until further notice.
Ewert Family Aquatic Center, 6th & School Street
(renovated in 2003 with Parks and Stormwater Sales Tax)
$2.50 for 15 and under; $3.50 for 16 and above
1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Schifferdecker Family Aquatic Center, 4th & South Schifferdecker Avenue
.75 for 15 and under; $1 for 16 and above
1 p.m. – 6 p.m., daily
