Christopher Don Lucas, 27 year old former Vinita resident, died Sunday May 22, 2011 in Joplin. He was born November 24, 1983 in Claremore to Terry Don Lucas and Pamela Jean Parker. Chris attended Vinita Schools, then joined the United States Navy in August of 2003, and was Honorably Discharged in July of 2009. He was currently the Assistant Manager of the Rangeline Pizza Hut in Joplin.
The family includes: his two daughters, Chloe Alexandra Lucas and Emily Kay Lucas; father Terry Don Lucas and wife Angel; mother Pamela Jean Praytor and husband Michael; grandparents, Mary J. and Bill K. Parker, Alice F. and Bobby D. Lucas; his girlfriend Brooke E. Praytor and their unborn child; brothers and sisters, Jacqueline Rene Bass, Terri Jo Bass and her Fiancee` D. C. Williams, Tiffanie Faye Wickliff, Terri Dawn Breger, Joshua Aaron Lucas, Jacob Ryan Lucas, Jeremy Kyle Lucas, Cody Lee Lucas, Cody Michael Praytor; the mother of his children Andrea Monique Lucas; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Preceding him in death were his great-grandparents Alfred and Julia “Babe” Woolman.
The memorial service for Christopher Don Lucas will be held Saturday, June 4, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at the First Church of God with Rev. Eddie Wrinkle officiating. Online condolences may be made at www.honoringmemories.com. Arrangements are by the Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita
