Within the last week, a Kansas City man brought in some computers to the repair shop with computers that needed to be “unlocked.”
When the technician went to look at the computers, he discovered the computers belonged to the Joplin School District and had likely been stolen in the chaos following the May 21 tornado.
The technician contacted police, who arrested the suspect. Police say the suspect had additional stolen computers in his possession.

Computers stolen from Joplin School District recovered in Kansas City
