The message is being spread to release white balloons at 5:41 p.m., two weeks to the moment that the Joplin tornado hit, in honor of one of the victims of that tornado, Joplin High School graduate Will Norton.
The request was made earlier on the "Find Will Norton" Facebook page, which quickly grew to more than 50,000 volunteers during the time that the search was being conducted for him and after he was found.
A celebration of the life of Will Norton is scheduled for 4 p.m. today at Christ's Church of Oronogo.
