Rupp disappointed in Obama support of gay marriage

(From Sen. Scott Rupp)
Senator Scott Rupp (R-Wentzville) today issued a statement on President Obama's support of gay marriage:
"I was disappointed to hear President Obama’s endorsement of gay marriage today. I believe marriage is between one man and one woman and is a sacred pillar of our country's heritage. I stand with the 70% of Missourians that voted to ban gay marriage and I stand with Governor Romney on this issue. I am proud to have supported the ban while in the Missouri legislature and to bring the issue before the voters."
