Last minute push: Humphreys gives Lager another $50,000

With less than one day to go before voting begins, Joplin businessman David Humphreys, whose family had already put at least $700,000 into Brad Lager's campaign for lieutenant governor, added another $50,000 to the total.

Humphreys had once been a big-buck supporter of Lager's primary opponent, incumbent Peter Kinder, but became disillusioned with Kinder after reports surfaced of the lieutenant governor's involvement with a stripper.
