At a news conference this afternoon, Barton County Prosecuting Attorney Steven Kaderly said the death penalty may be sought against Bobby Dale Bourne, 34, Lamar, who is charged with kidnapping and will face a murder charge in connection with the death of Adriaunna Horton, 12, Golden City.
Bourne is being held with no bond at the Jasper County Jail, because of fears for his safety in the Barton County Jail.
