A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM CST WEDNESDAY. * SHORT TERM TRENDS...SNOW WILL BEGIN DEVELOPING BY DAYBREAK INTO THE MORNING COMMUTE FROM SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS INTO SOUTHWESTERN MISSOURI. A DUSTING OF SNOW MAY OCCUR BY THE MORNING COMMUTE WHICH WILL LEAD TO DETERIORATING ROAD CONDITIONS. SNOWFALL WILL INCREASE IN INTENSITY DURING THE MORNING HOURS. * TIMING AND AREAS AFFECTED...FROM EARLY THIS MORNING THROUGH TONIGHT FOR SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS AND THE MISSOURI OZARKS. * SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...ACCUMULATIONS WILL RANGE FROM 2 TO 5 INCHES WITH HIGHER AMOUNTS NORTH OF A LINE FROM COLUMBUS KANSAS TO THE LAKE OF THE OZARKS.
