(From the National Weather Service)

WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM CST MONDAY...
...WIND CHILL ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS EVENING
TO NOON CST MONDAY...

A WINTER STORM WARNING FOR SNOW AND SLEET REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL
6 AM CST MONDAY. A WIND CHILL ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM
THIS EVENING TO NOON CST MONDAY.

* SHORT TERM TRENDS...LIGHT SNOW AND SLEET WILL CONTINUE ACROSS
THE REGION THIS MORNING. WINTRY PRECIPITATION WILL BECOME MORE
SCATTERED IN NATURE LATER THIS MORNING INTO THIS
AFTERNOON...BEFORE INCREASING AGAIN LATE THIS AFTERNOON INTO
THIS EVENING. MANY ROADWAYS ARE COVERED WITH SNOW AND SLEET...
  RESULTING IN TREACHEROUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS.

* TIMING AND AREAS AFFECTED...WINTRY PRECIPITATION WILL CONTINUE
THROUGH TONIGHT FOR AREAS NORTH OF A LINE FROM BRANSON TO
  EMINENCE...INCLUDING THE GREATER U.S. 60 AND I-44 CORRIDORS.
BITTERLY COLD WIND CHILLS CAN BE EXPECTED FROM THIS EVENING
  THROUGH MID DAY MONDAY.

* SNOW AND SLEET ACCUMULATIONS...ADDITIONAL LIGHT SLEET
ACCUMULATIONS ARE EXPECTED DURING THE DAY TODAY...WITH
ADDITIONAL LOCALIZED SLEET ACCUMULATIONS OF UP TO A HALF INCH.
LATER THIS EVENING INTO TONIGHT...SNOW IS EXPECTED ACROSS THE
REGION. MANY LOCATIONS CAN EXPECT 4 TO 6 INCHES OF SNOW TO
FALL...WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS UP TO 8 INCHES. SNOWFALL
RATES MAY BE HEAVY AT TIMES TONIGHT.

* ICE ACCUMULATIONS...A GLAZE TO TENTH OF AN INCH OF FREEZING
RAIN OCCURRED LATE LAST NIGHT ACROSS THE REGION...BUT THE THREAT
OF FREEZING RAIN HAS ENDED THIS MORNING.

* WINDS AND VISIBILITY...NORTHERLY WIND GUSTS UP TO 30 MPH WILL
RESULT IN CONSIDERABLE BLOWING AND DRIFTING OF SNOW LATER THIS
EVENING AND TONIGHT. VISIBILITIES WILL BE REDUCED TO LESS THAN A
  HALF MILE AT TIMES.

* WIND CHILL VALUES...WIND CHILL VALUES WILL REMAIN AROUND ZERO
TODAY ACROSS THE AREA. TONIGHT AND EARLY MONDAY...WIND CHILLS
WILL FALL TO BETWEEN 10 AND 20 DEGREES BELOW ZERO.

* IMPACTS...TRAVEL ACROSS THE REGION HAS BECOME DIFFICULT AND
DANGEROUS. BLOWING AND DRIFTING OF SNOW MAY LIMIT THE VISIBILITY
TO NEAR ZERO AT TIMES. VERY COLD TEMPERATURES WILL RESULT IN A
RISK FOR FROSTBITE AND HYPOTHERMIA FOR ANYONE WITHOUT PROPER
  SHELTER.
