A WINTER STORM WARNING FOR SNOW AND SLEET REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM CST MONDAY. A WIND CHILL ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS EVENING TO NOON CST MONDAY. * SHORT TERM TRENDS...SNOW AND SLEET WILL CONTINUE FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE MORNING AND GRADUALLY SWITCH TO ALL SNOW NORTH OF THE U.S. 54 CORRIDOR. SNOW WILL ALSO DECREASE IN COVERAGE AND INTENSITY BY LATE MORNING INTO THE AFTERNOON HOURS. SNOWFALL RATES MAY BE HEAVY AT TIMES TONIGHT. * ICE ACCUMULATIONS...A GLAZE TO A TENTH OF AN INCH OF FREEZING RAIN OCCURRED IN SOME LOCATIONS SATURDAY NIGHT...BUT THE THREAT OF FREEZING RAIN HAS ENDED ACROSS CENTRAL MISSOURI. * WINDS AND VISIBILITY...NORTHERLY WIND GUSTS UP TO 30 MPH WILL RESULT IN CONSIDERABLE BLOWING AND DRIFTING OF SNOW LATER THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.
