NORTHWESTERN JASPER COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST MISSOURI... * UNTIL 630 PM CDT * AT 603 PM CDT...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING A TORNADO WAS LOCATED 15 MILES WEST OF JASPER...AND MOVING NORTHEAST AT 45 MPH. HAZARD...TORNADO AND HALF DOLLAR SIZE HAIL. SOURCE...RADAR INDICATED ROTATION. IMPACT...FLYING DEBRIS WILL BE DANGEROUS TO THOSE CAUGHT WITHOUT SHELTER. MOBILE HOMES WILL BE DAMAGED OR DESTROYED. DAMAGE TO ROOFS...WINDOWS AND VEHICLES WILL OCCUR. TREE DAMAGE IS LIKELY. * LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE... ASBURY...BOSTON...IANTHA...JASPER...NASHVILLE...NECK CITY...OAKTON AND WACO. THIS STORM HAS A HISTORY OF PRODUCING TORNADO DAMAGE ACROSS EASTERN KANSAS. IF A TORNADO IS NOT ALREADY ON THE GROUND...ONE MAY FORM AT ANY MOMENT.
