OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

  LIMITED HAIL RISK.
  LIMITED THUNDERSTORM WIND DAMAGE RISK.
  LIMITED LIGHTNING RISK.
  LIMITED EXCESSIVE HEAT RISK.

DISCUSSION...

HEAT INDICES WILL WARM INTO THE MIDDLE AND UPPER 90S THIS
AFTERNOON OVER SOUTHEAST KANSAS INTO PARTS OF WESTERN AND SOUTHERN
MISSOURI.

AN AREA OF THUNDERSTORMS IS EXPECTED TO MOVE SOUTHEAST INTO
NORTHERN SECTIONS OF THE OUTLOOK AREA LATE TONIGHT AFTER 4 AM. A
LIMITED RISK FOR STRONG TO SEVERE STORMS EXISTS WITH WIND GUSTS UP
TO 60 MPH AND ONE INCH HAIL...MAINLY NORTH OF A GIRARD KANSAS TO
BOLIVAR TO SALEM LINE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY.

A FEW THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE TUESDAY MORNING.

UNSEASONABLY HOT WEATHER WILL EXPAND ACROSS THE REGION LATER THIS
WEEK. DAILY AFTERNOON HEAT INDEX VALUES NEAR OR EXCEEDING 100
DEGREES CAN BE EXPECTED IN MANY AREAS FOR SEVERAL DAYS STARTING
TOMORROW OR WEDNESDAY.
