Coverage of today's Joplin High School Dedication Ceremony and Ribbon-Cutting is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. and, barring technical difficulties can be watched right here.
Speeches will be given by Vice President Joe Biden, Secretary of Education Arne Duncan, and others.
More coverage and commentary of the event will be featured later on the Turner Report.
I think I will wait for the book to come out.
ReplyDeleteHey Joe, take the little creep with you when you go. He will fit right in with the DC crowd.
ReplyDelete......but the Kardashians will be on!
ReplyDeleteNo need to watch. I'm sure this will run on a continuous loop alternating with the latest football game on Jet-14 for the next year.
ReplyDeleteTrue, but you can't beat the comments.
ReplyDeleteAmen Randy!! Best form of entertainment!! Lmao
ReplyDeleteRumor has it that a significant number of Joplin students decided to stay home (with parental consent) and celebrate CJ Huff day.
ReplyDeleteI propose that our city council officially declare the annual holiday of: October 3, CJ Huff day; so that children can stay home, thereby improving learning.

ReplyDeleteIf you love a subject; teach middle school.
If you love the future; teach high school.
If you love yourself; go into administration."

In glancing around at the crowd, it didn't look like more than 100-200 HS students attended.
