The Joplin R-8 School District is being booted out of the MODOT building it has used for administration since the May 22, 2011, Joplin Tornado.
In this KOAM report, Superintendent C. J. Huff says buildings currently owned by the district and other locations will be considered and that a decision will be made in two to three months.
In an earlier e-mail to staff, Huff indicated the district would have the MODOT building through May 31, 2015.

Found them a new location. Just sell a few miles of ribbon and it can be yours! http://www.zillow.com/homedetails/5964-7th-St-W-Joplin-MO-64804/2109616453_zpid/
Thanks for sharing that, 1:05! Looking at it made me think "it's amazing how much money you can piss away when you have no taste"; it should suit Huff, the man who gave us monstrosities like Soaring Heights, Irving and the high school, just fine and dandy.
Gary Hall is a self made man his dad worked in the empire plant and Gary graduated from Galena high school and is very down to earth when you are worth over a 150 million dollars you can build a home like this he just let his wife go wild she helped design the home it is very well built with 3 feet thick walls and is very unique saying he has no class is just not true you sound a little jealous
As a taxpayer having viewed the listing, I feel that we should offer this property as CJ Huff's residence, as an incentive to retain his irreplaceable leadership. At 8.4 million, this property is a steal. We would be losing money if we did not take advantage of this deal. Hey....might as well.
Gary Hall made his money by using Naitve American rights to avoid tobacco taxes to undercut his competition. He gets caught..a few palms get greased.. and he is a hero.
Hey 1:22... only three bedrooms..just how big are they?
Oh so Jealous
