The State Board of Education interviewed the five finalists for Commissioner of Education Tuesday, including Joplin R-8 Superintendent C. J. Huff.
Huff told KZRG the interview went well:
I had a great discussion about how to improve public education for kids in Missouri. Very impressed by their questions and the direction of the State Board. I feel good about the comments, the dialogue we had...no regrets in terms of anything I said. I fell like I represented Joplin well and am excited to hear what the end result is going to be.
It's also known as a "courtesy interview"
