WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW...SLEET AND FREEZING DRIZZLE...WHICH IS
IN EFFECT FROM 4 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO 9 AM CST THURSDAY.

* TIMING AND AREAS AFFECTED...SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS AND THE MISSOURI
  OZARKS GENERALLY ALONG AND NORTH OF HIGHWAY 60...OR A JOPLIN TO
  EMINENCE LINE FROM LATE THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH EARLY THURSDAY
  MORNING.

  A WINTRY MIX COULD IMPACT AREAS AS FAR NORTH AS A FORT SCOTT
  KANSAS TO SPRINGFIELD MISSOURI LINE BY THE AFTERNOON COMMUTE
  THEN OVERSPREAD THE AREA DURING THE EVENING.

* SNOW AND SLEET ACCUMULATIONS...SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF AROUND ONE
  HALF TO ONE AND A HALF INCHES ARE EXPECTED. THE HIGHER AMOUNTS
  WITH LOCALIZED TOTALS NEAR TWO INCHES POSSIBLE WILL GENERALLY
  OCCUR ALONG AND NORTH OF A LINE FROM FORT SCOTT KANSAS TO
  LEBANON MISSOURI. SLEET MAY BE MIXED WITH THE SNOW AT TIMES.

* ICE ACCUMULATIONS...AREAS OF FREEZING DRIZZLE LATE TONIGHT AND
  EARLY THURSDAY MORNING MAY RESULT IN A VERY LIGHT GLAZE OF ICE.

* VISIBILITY...THE VISIBILITY MAY BE REDUCED TO NEAR ONE HALF MILE
  IN BANDS OF HEAVIER SNOW.

* IMPACTS...THE WINTRY MIX WILL IMPACT TRAVEL ESPECIALLY ON
  BRIDGES...OVERPASSES AND SECONDARY OR UNTREATED ROADS. BE ALERT
  FOR THE POTENTIAL OF DETERIORATING TRAVEL CONDITIONS DURING THE
  LATE AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING COMMUTE. IMPACTS TO TRAVEL WILL
  CONTINUE THROUGH THE THURSDAY MORNING COMMUTE. TRAVEL CONDITIONS
  COULD VARY CONSIDERABLY OVER SHORT DISTANCES GOING FROM WET TO
  ICE AND SNOW COVERED OVER SHORT DISTANCES.
