THE HEAVIEST SNOW THROUGH THE MORNING RUSH HOUR WILL BE ACROSS PORTIONS OF THE THE EASTERN OZARKS AND SOUTHERN MISSOURI...GENERALLY ALONG AND SOUTHEAST OF A LINE FROM SALEM...TO HARTVILLE...TO NIXA...TO BRANSON. SNOW WILL GRADUALLY COME TO AN END FROM WEST TO EAST ACROSS THE REGION TODAY. STORM TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATION OF 4 TO 7 INCHES IS EXPECTED FOR AREAS SOUTHEAST OF THE INTERSTATE 44 CORRIDOR...WITH A FEW LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS POSSIBLE. FURTHER TO THE NORTH...SNOW TOTALS WILL BE LESS AND VARY QUITE A BIT...WITH UP TO 3 INCHES OF ACCUMULATION. A WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT TIL EARLY MONDAY AFTERNOON. WIND CHILLS ARE EXPECTED TO DIP INTO THE SINGLE DIGITS TO AROUND ZERO DEGREES OVERNIGHT TONIGHT. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY. THERE IS A CHANCE FOR SCATTERED LIGHT SNOW SHOWERS ON TUESDAY AS ANOTHER STRONG COLD FRONT MOVES THROUGH THE REGION. VERY COLD TEMPERATURES WILL IMPACT THE OUTLOOK AREA THROUGH THURSDAY NIGHT. WIND CHILL VALUES IN THE SINGLE DIGITS ABOVE AND BELOW ZERO CAN BE EXPECTED AT TIMES. AT THIS TIME...CONFIDENCE IN THE FORECAST FOR FRIDAY AND FRIDAY IS LOW WITH A WINTRY MIX OF PRECIPITATION POSSIBLE.
