Alan Matthews leaving Good Morning Four States

Alan Matthews announced today that he will leave KODE, with his final day being Friday, April 3.

Matthews has been the host of Good Morning Four States for the past 17 years. I know I appreciated him because you do not find many morning news hosts who have actually read the books before interviewing authors.

Matthews does not say what his new job will be, but he is moving out of state.

Alan will be sorely missed. He is a true professional, and we were quite fortunate to have him in this market for 17 years. He and Shannon made an excellent team.

  3. Alan always did a great job and will be missed, on the other hand they need to get rid of Shannon she is very hard on the eyes that early in the morning.

Seriously? I'd be interested to see how "easy" you are on the eyes. It really wouldn't matter if you were, though. You could look like Brad Pitt and still be ugly with a judgmental, cruel attitude like yours. Disgusting.

Good luck to Mr. Matthews. Although I watch the KOAM morning show as a rule, I would periodically check out KODE......can't watch the goofy KSN show...their anchors routinely talk over each other......very annoying
