Meet the author/book signing for Silver Lining set for June 27

As I mentioned in an earlier post, we are doing something a little different for the first signing for Silver Lining in a Funnel Cloud: Greed, Corruption, and the Joplin Tornado.

Thanks to Bob Wolfe of Always Buying Books and VFW Post 534 of Joplin, the first event for the new book will be a combination meet the author/book signing scheduled for 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, June 27, at the post, which is located at 110 Veterans Way.

During the first half of the program, I will talk about the book and the events that it covers in recent Joplin history, as well as doing a brief reading or two and then answer questions from the audience. I will sign books during the second hour.

Those who have already purchased books can feel free to bring them to be signed.
