Ace Mohr still driving a year and a half after refusing blood alcohol test

A hearing is scheduled Monday morning in Jasper County Circuit Court for Ace Mohr, 23, Carthage, on a felony drug charge,  but there is also an administrative hearing on tap for Mohr on Monday's docket.

A 1:30 p.m. hearing is scheduled before Judge Joseph Hensley, but don't be surprised if it doesn't happen.

Online Jasper County Circuit Court records indicate that the hearing has been scheduled three previous times since the petition for a stay order was initially filed by Joplin attorney Brian Glades March 11, 2015, after Mohr allegedly refused to submit to a breathalyzer test.

Previous hearing dates of April 20, 2015, November 20, 2015, and April 22, 2016, were scratched when both sides "agreed to continue," according to online court records.

Of course, Mohr's driving time has been severely restricted since his recent arrest on a felony receiving stolen property charge.

Mohr also has a 9 a.m. hearing on a felony drug possession case stemming from a December 30, 2015 arrest by the Carthage Police Department,

You're making it real hard for them to continue sweeping him under the rug Randy. All this publicity might cause them to not use Ace any longer.

Doesn't appear he has has any problems getting around town or getting around the law.
