Joplin man who claims connection to Irish Mob held on $50,000 bond after Drug Enforcement Team raid nets meth, guns

A Joplin man is being held in the Jasper County Jail on a $50,000 cash-only bond after the Ozarks Drug Enforcement Team arrested him Wednesday for allegedly dealing meth out of his homeat 615 South Ozark, Joplin.

The Drug Enforcement Team arrested Ryan X. Johnson, 39, during a no-knock search in which 31 grams of suspected methamphetamine and four guns, including an SKS rifle were confiscated.

Johnson was charged with delivery of a controlled substance and unlawful use of a weapon.

Also arrested on a felony out-of-state fugitive warrant from Crawford County, Kansas, was Audrana Michelle Green, 28, Girard, Kansas. Green is being held on $10,000 bond.






Three other people were in the home when the search took place, but were not arrested.

The search warrant application indicates a confidential informant working with the Drug Enforcement Team had made multiple controlled buys from Johnson at his home.

The warrant asked for and received the no-knock authority because of the ease with which people could be seen coming from the Johnson residence, which would have allowed time to destroy evidence and because of Johnson's claim that he has ties to the "Irish Mob."
