It’s been well over a year since the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement was signed with our country’s two biggest trading partners.
In all my meetings with Missouri farmers, ranchers, manufacturers, and small business owners over the past few months, passing USMCA was consistently a top concern. And it’s no surprise they’re eager to see USMCA enacted – this modernized trade agreement is a big win for our country.
Passing USMCA would expand markets for farmers and ranchers, and level the playing field for businesses. This agreement will provide U.S. producers the tools they need to compete and succeed around the globe. And it would bring our country’s trade into the 21st century where it belongs.
By removing barriers, USMCA will increase U.S. agricultural and food exports by more than $2 billion annually.
USMCA will give manufacturers in our state a competitive advantage to expand and create more jobs. Our economy right now is strong, thanks to Republican pro-growth policies, and we can help keep that momentum going by passing USMCA.
USMCA has the bipartisan support needed to pass in the House and Senate. Yet Speaker Pelosi continues to delay voting. Every day USMCA isn’t brought to a vote means missed opportunities for hardworking Americans.
The time to pass USMCA is now.

How does the payback for Moscow Mitch not holding a vote on Merrick Garland's nomination taste?
It looks like the republicans do not like the way the democrats have taken several notes out of their playbook of delaying passage of some bills. Too bad they, republicans, forget what Blunt and Moscow Mitch did to Obama during his presidency.
More important is what is Blunts and Hawley's stand on the latest revelations of their mighty corrupt orange haired leader. Blunt seems to forget that as a teacher he should setting a standard for children to follow even though his children failed to learn much about honesty, integrity and working for the people versus their own pocketbook. Does he really think this clown is right for our country after watching tens of thousands of lies and mis-dealings with our allies and his use of office to enrich him and his family of misfits.
Two wrongs make a right? How about elected officials do what they are supposed to do instead of playing politics?
