Four town hall sessions have been scheduled to allow all Missouri Southern State University students, faculty, staff, and community members an opportunity to participate in the search for the university’s next president.
Finalists for the position are expected to be announced as soon as is practicable, following the Board of Governors meeting slated for Thursday, April 30.
The sessions are tentatively planned to take place in person, but will also be conducted virtually to allow those that do not wish to come to campus to participate.
Each of the events will begin with a 15-minute presentation from the candidate, followed by a 60-minute question-and-answer session. Questions for the candidates can be submitted to presidentialsearch@mssu.edu until 12 p.m. Wednesday, April 29.
The town halls have been scheduled for 2:30 to 3:45 p.m. on the following dates:
· Tuesday, May 5
· Wednesday, May 6
· Thursday, May 7
· Friday, May 8
All sessions will be offered in Webster Hall’s Corley Auditorium.
Links to the virtual sessions will be posted at
